A Calorie Is Not A Calorie


In all the diet and eating confusion out there you often here people spouting out the old school “Calories in calories out” mantra for weight loss.  Basically saying that as long as you burn more than you consume you will achieve weight loss success.  It’s not as simple as that, and weight loss doesn’t always mean good health.

  1. My son goes to a daycare where meals are provided. The amount of white flour-based meals they serve these kids freaks me out! They call it different names but its all the same (pizza, lasagna, pasta, tortellini, grilled cheese, french toast, etc. etc.) Time to write them a strongly-worded letter…
